📢 Reminder: Medicare Part D Notices Due Before Oct. 15, 2025

If your company offers a group health plan with prescription drug coverage, you must notify Medicare-eligible individuals whether your plan is creditable (i.e., as good as or better than Medicare Part D).

📌 What You Need to Know:

  • 🗓️ Deadline: Notices must be sent before Oct. 15, 2025 — the start of Medicare Part D open enrollment.
  • 📄 Use CMS-provided model notices to stay compliant.
  • ✅ Include the notice in open enrollment packets for easy delivery.
  • 💡 Failing to notify may lead to higher premiums for employees who delay Medicare enrollment.
