🩺 HHS Updates 2026 Out-of-Pocket Max Limits 💸

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has finalized new rules under the ACA 🏥—including increased out-of-pocket maximums for 2026 to better reflect premium trends:
🔹 Self-only coverage: $10,600 (⬆️ from $10,150)
🔹 Other than self-only: $21,200 (⬆️ from $20,300)
📌 For HSA-compatible HDHPs in 2026:
💳 $8,500 self-only (⬆️ from $8,300)
💳 $17,000 family (⬆️ from $16,600)
Additionally, insurers subject to Essential Health Benefits (EHB) rules are now prohibited from treating specified sex-trait modification procedures as an EHB. However, they may still cover them voluntarily or as required by state law.
