๐ฉบ HHS Updates 2026 Out-of-Pocket Max Limits ๐ธ

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has finalized new rules under the ACA ๐ฅโincluding increased out-of-pocket maximums for 2026 to better reflect premium trends:
๐น Self-only coverage: $10,600 (โฌ๏ธ from $10,150)
๐น Other than self-only: $21,200 (โฌ๏ธ from $20,300)
๐ For HSA-compatible HDHPs in 2026:
๐ณ $8,500 self-only (โฌ๏ธ from $8,300)
๐ณ $17,000 family (โฌ๏ธ from $16,600)
Additionally, insurers subject to Essential Health Benefits (EHB) rules are now prohibited from treating specified sex-trait modification procedures as an EHB. However, they may still cover them voluntarily or as required by state law.
